Hello all, Jacob here. Sorry for not writing anything recently, I have been having a rough two weeks with some problems in my life. However, I plan to have another chapter of Skybreaker out within the next few days.
Anyway, this is sort of a checking up on everything post, and I may be doing these anywhere from once a week to once a month. I plan to do these for two reasons: the first is that I need to talk more about life and stuff, cause this is sort of my blog. The other is that I will sometimes cite scriptures and inspirations that I read in the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
Anyway, for this post I would like to cite some inspiration I felt when reading 3rd Nephi 14: 7. As some of you may be familiar with the Bible or Book of Mormon, this is one of the "Ask and ye shall receive" verses, which are extremely common in both books. However, this time something revealed itself unto me that I had never fully understood. God has infinite blessings in store for us, but cannot give them unto us unless if we are willing to show faith in him, and many of these blessings are things that we need and want with the very depths o our hearts and souls. But it occurred to me that the reason the "Ask and ye shall receive" scriptures are so common is because God is trying to tell us that the very act of "asking" him for help, for blessing, or for literally anything is in and of itself an act of faith sufficient enough for him to bless us through that faith. It never really clicked in my mind until now that God wants us to ask because through the faith we show in asking him he can bless us in the ways we need him to.
Well, that's my spiritual thought that I wanted to post. Another chapter of Skybreaker will come out soon, as soon as I figure out how to write one dang scene in the next chapter, then i can start a regular schedule again. As for David that may take more time. Also, I have two more stories that I may start sooner or later, both of which I at least think are cool ideas. Anyway, thanks to everyone who had read my stories, and special thanks to those who have proof read them. This is Jacob signing out.
